Kintz Boats

Manufacturer: Iroquois China
User: Kintz Boats
Date: 1940s - 1950s
Notes: The Kintz Boat Basin was located in the Puget Sound area of Seattle, Washington. The basin rented boats to people for cruises, excursions and water outings. This mug was likely used in the Kintz Boat Basin restaurant / lunch room located at the mooring area, where people could dine.

The logo on the mug features a detailed image of a vintage style cabin cruiser marked: “Kintz Boat Basin – 2601 –15 Fairview No., Seattle 2 Wash.,” across the bow. Above and below the boat logo is the wording “U Never Forget A Date With Me – Rent A Cruiser – U Run It.”
