    Default The Hollow Mug?

Anybody know about this place? The only thing I could find on the Interwebs was a Hollow Mug that used to exist in Winnipeg. The look is late 1970s, 1980s? Caribe made it, stamp to blurry to make out a date code.

I cant help you, but that cup of java sure does look good!! - I also see a cast iron frying pan in the background, will bacon and eggs be on the breakfast menu as well?

What I've learned so far suggests the place in Winnipeg --- if it's the same place --- might be a bar. Would that be okay too?

Hello. I collect this type of Caribe pedestal mugs with commercial logos.
Have 18 different already. Could you be so kind to tell me where may I find one like this?
I'm very interested. Jorge Crespo ac_jcrespo at suagm dot edu

looks like closed in 1985 showstopers opened in 1990 after "a five year absence of dinner theatre"

Which leaves one to wonder why a business in Winnipeg would be buying mugs made in Puerto Rico but hey ... why not (it's clearly a good id, I'm not saying it isn't).

I would only guess that production costs would be less expensive..

The Horn & Musket mug was mine. That was a good sleeper sale last summer. I found three of those that were covered in dirt and grease. I love when I find a piece of RW that's filthy then I get it home and it washes up beautifully!!

That's how I found a beautiful 9" Southern Pacific plate last year- grimy and 25 cents- the sticker wouldn't even stick well. Always pays to look a little deeper!
