Notes: Dick Lane bought out Miller Hotels in 1927 and started Blackhawk Hotels Company in 1929 with three hotels: Blackhawk and Davenport Hotels in Davenport, Iowa and St. Paul Hotel in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Later hotels included Hotel Jefferson, Peoria, Illinois; Hotel Lowry, St. Paul, Minnesota and Hotel Mississippi, Davenport, Iowa.
