Notes: The Harbor Inn Restaurant was located on the Boardwalk at Rockaway Park, Long Island, New York. The Harbor Inn was famous for its Shore Dinners and Sea Food. It was originally owned and operated by Edgett and Wheeler Proprietors. The image on the plate shows the original Harbor Inn Restaurant before it was redone in the 1930s to look more like a lighthouse and it lost its wonderful Victorian style appearance. The Harbor Inn has since been demolished.
The plate features the restaurants highly detailed green image (all underglazed) in the center of the plate with two green outerboarder pinstripes. The plate was made by John Maddock & Son and was distributed by J.R. Gibney in New York.
